Future smart mobility

The future of mobility is autonomous, electric and sustainable. The transformation is already well underway. New technologies, changes in demographics and mobility needs, as well as sustainability and efficiency demands are all contributing factors. Cars have started assisting our driving and will eventually be driving themselves. Over the next fifteen years, we will be heading to the permanent establishment of autonomous vehicles (AVs) on our roads. At the same time, the move to electromobility, hydrogen fuel cells and non-fossil-based fuel alternatives will be central to reducing society’s carbon footprint. The transition is gaining traction and will progress further over the coming years.
